Very good food. It was very home made and everything was made from scratch including the butter and ketchup. Their coffee shop was also great and one of the best real chai lattes I’ve had in Texas.

I came with my family to a Homestead Conference and it was a great event. The Homestead Heritage place is fantastic. A family friendly place that offers classes and hand made crafts that are guaranteed quality. Old World quality is what I think of when things are made by hand and made to last a long time. I would love to come back on a Saturday when they have their market days or any other time. If we lived closer to Waco I would be taking some classes and making some things. At the conference, they had demonstrations that we very well done. You could ask questions of the presenter and see, with the help of a camera and big TV screens, what exactly is being made and how.

We ate at Cafe homestead today we were not able to check out the other areas but we will be back! The food was delicious a little pricey but it was worth all the flavor and customer service was phenomenal.

Really quaint spot with great handmade artisan goods. A little on the higher price but you can tell a lot of thought went into their goods. Educational and fun- excellent cheese shop and cafe for lunch. Chocolate and coffee shop super cute too. Worth the trip if you’re in town for Magnolia!

What a wonderful place, spent several hours exploring all the different shops. Looking forward to come back and take some of their classes. I'd like to do the cheese making and looming class. We ate at the Cafe and it was amazing! Be sure to make reservations, which you can do online, because this place gets busy. My favorite part was the working gristmill! It was so cool to watch it grind flour right in front of us. And of course, the cheese cave was awesome! Bought 3 types of delicious cheese. They let us try 10 different cheeses, they were all so very delicious! It was difficult to pick just 3 (they had a special, buy 2 and get 1 half off).
